US MGI firm Santos, Postal & Company announces new hire

US MGI member firm Santos, Postal & Company, based in Rockville, Washington DC, USA has announced the latest addition to the team, Adam Freedenberg, CPA and CFE.

He becomes manager of the firm, which was named a winner in Accounting Today magazine’s 2013 Best Accounting Firms to Work For.

His main experience lies in preparing and reviewing tax returns, specifically forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, and Personal Property Returns. Adam has also executed and delivered audit and attestation services for various businesses, including a number of not-for-profit organisations.

Before joining MGI member firm Santos, Postal & Company, Adam had been part of a Certified Public Accounting firm also based in Washington, D.C. since 2007.  After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, he became a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Managing partner Charles B Postal welcomed the appointment and is confident the firm will continue to thrive after a busy year. 

Charles represented the firm at the most recent MGI joint North America and Latin America conference in Miami, Florida and at last years MGI World AGM in Australia.

He works alongside brother Merle in a firm that has been providing accounting and auditing services for small and medium-sized businesses for over 40 years.

“We come from a family of entrepreneurs, so we have a good understanding of what it takes for small and medium size businesses to be successful," says Charles.
