MGI Latin America welcomes new member in Brazil

Brazil’s Controle Assessoria Contabil Ltda has become the latest addition to the expanding MGI Latin America area. Specialists in consulting, accounting, personnel and tax advisory services, this limited company is based in the city of Manaus in the heart of the Amazon. Partners Jonilvania Mangueira da Silva ​and Dilzanira da Silza Santos attended the AGM in Chicago in October to introduce the firm to other members with a short presentation.

Vania, as she prefers to be called, accompanied by her partner Dilza, explained how the firm’s activities are split 30 per cent on accounting, 30 per cent fiscal/tax, 20 per cent for personnel and 20 per cent consulting and fiscal process. She’s keen to build relations with other MGI firms and hopes that becoming part of the alliance will foster strong links and international collaboration. “We are interested in work with all countries,” says Vania.

Controle Assessoria Contabil Ltda has strong links in one of the fastest growing economic powerhouses, with a particularly prominent position in the increasingly important Amazon region. It expands MGI’s footprint into the north of Brazil, complementing the alliance’s existing member firm MGI SengerWagner Auditores Independentes, which has bases in Sao Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.
