MGI’s Paragraf taps Mackrell International for collaboration
MGI member Paragraf Tax Advisory and Accountancy Office is now sharing accounting and legal advice with a firm from the alliance’s sister network, Mackrell International (MI).
Paragraf, which is based in the town of Komarno in Slovakia, was contacted by MI member CLS Cavojsky & Partners after a presentation about MGI at a recent MI event.
“We were very glad they contacted us to invite us to visit their office,” explains Szalay László, managing director at Paragraf.
While it’s perhaps only the beginning of the relationship between the two firms, there were a number of practical outcomes from the meeting.
For example, Paragraf is sending accounting and tax articles to include in CLS Cavojsky & Partners’ legal circular, while the latter is sending legal news to be included in the MGI firm’s circular. It’s a great example of the kind of sharing that can happen, but there is a lot more to be explored.

“Our local lawyer can manage simple questions in Komarno, but if the client has a more difficult case, we will send the client for advice from CLS,” explains Szalay, who says the two firms remain in close contact and cooperation following their initial contact.
“We have another meeting in our Komarno office coming up and we plan to visit some embassies in Slovakia together,” he adds. “We’ve also decided to visit together our new MGI partner in Prague, in the Czech republic.”
CLS is also happy to be working closely with MI’s sister network now that MGI has a presence in Slovakia.
“We consider this meeting as highly beneficial, both offices promised mutual assistance and cooperation in their fields for their existing clients and new clients as well,” said the firm.
