MGI World AGM – London Calling

We want to welcome you to this year's World AGM, which will be hosted in London from 21 - 23 October.

My name is Simon Turner and I'm a Director of MGI UK & Ireland. I am also a Director at Seymour Taylor and our office is in High Wycombe; just a short journey from London and very close to London's Heathrow Airport.

We have been members of MGI for nearly 25 years. Along with the other UK and Ireland members we want to welcome you to this year's World AGM, which will be hosted in London from 21 - 23 October.

Simon Turner The conference is being held at the same time as this year’s Rugby World Cup which is also being hosted in the UK. England’s base is the famous Twickenham stadium which is very close to London. To celebrate all that is Rugby, we are delighted to be able to welcome Sir Clive Woodward, coach of England’s World Cup winning team in 2003, to the conference.

Sir Clive has an acute understanding of the synergy between business and sport and has affirmed his reputation as an inspiring and thought provoking speaker. I am personally looking forward to his session after lunch at the conference on Friday 23, October.

I also wanted to talk about the accompanying persons, programme at this year’s conference. The itinerary is great and on Thursday 22 October guests will be treated to a private tour of the Tate Modern Gallery, a guided walk to the oldest Roman food market at London Bridge and a delightful afternoon tea on the terrace at the Oxo Tower on the banks of the Thames.

To book members can access the meeting registration pages via the MGI Member Area > Meetings section or contact MGI UK & Ireland Area Coordinator Paul Winder.
