Worldwide charity OXFAM signs with MGI firm Nathee Audit Office after ‘MGI Asia’ pitch
MGI Asia member Nathee Audit Office Co. Limited has successfully bid for a contract with OXFAM Asia after collaborating with other members. The large, worldwide charity has signed with the firm for a South East Asia project.
The firm had worked with OXFAM Thailand for five years, developing a successful relationship that led to them being referred to OXFAM GB Regional Office, which is based in Thailand.
OXFAM GB Regional Office required an auditor for verification works on funds given from a European government agency. Thanadee Hongratana-uthai, partner at Nathee Audit Office and South East Asia Circle Leader for MGI Asia, felt confident in pitching for the contract due to the MGI Network.
Bidding for the contract with the idea that Nathee would manage the entire project with auditing work being carried out on-site in Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia, Thanadee turned to fellow MGI members in these countries
The work will be performed by APV (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, Gatmaitan and Associates CPA's (Philippines), and Vietnam Auditing and Valuation Company Limited (AVA).
It’s a great example of how a firm can tap into MGI’s global reach, while also highlighting how regional strength really differentiates MGI from other networks.
Relationships can be forged with other members at area meetings, allowing small and medium-sized accounting firms across the network to join forces and bid for big business that they may not be able to attract alone.
Nathee Audit Office's successful bid proves that members can use the network to overcome potential barriers and identify potential new business opportunities, as well as convince clients to take a new approach that could benefit a number of MGI members along the way.
