Our first webinar of 2017 took place last week on 9 February. Titled “How to be more proactive in your MGI Marketing and gain advantage in the local marketplace”, members registered from 17 countries across Africa, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & North Africa, North America and UK & Ireland.
Members learnt how they could leverage more from their MGI membership by doing “something extra” as part of their firm’s local marketing effort and while the webinar touched on some basic marketing principles it was mainly focused on helping those choosing to take that “next step” better understand what the possibilities are and how they can get involved.
The webinar included:
- 3 simple strategies to help “win” in MGI marketing
- Ideas and examples of what other members are doing
- A series of marketing tools members can use straight away

Feedback after the webinar included comments like “Thank you. I believe it has given us new ideas and perspectives about marketing. How can I watch it again?” and “I have made a list of areas that we can look at as a business in the year ahead to take this further forward.”
The webinar was aimed at those individuals responsible for marketing within their firm, providing some useful tips and suggestions that members firms can take back to the office and use straight away.
