2017 MGI Asia Area Meeting to be held in Bangalore, India

This years’ MGI Asia Area Meeting will be held in the garden city of Bangalore.

MGI Asia is pleased to announce that this years’ MGI Asia Area Meeting will be hosted in the garden city of Bangalore on 4-5 August.

Boasting a balance of the old & new and now known as Bengaluru, this is the capital of Karnataka State, one of the most progressive and industrialised States in India. It accounts for 5.13 per cent of India’s population, the ninth largest among the States. Bangalore is an interesting mix of well-planned infrastructure and scenic landscapes. As multinationals aim for the sky with spiralling workplaces all around Bangalore, some of the most beautiful gardens in the country and a monumental palace, adorn the city and add to its cultural heritage.

Widely known as the Silicon Valley of India, the name highlights the status of Bangalore as a hub for information technology. However, long before it became the hub for the IT industry, Bangalore was known as the aviation capital of India. Today the world’s aerospace giants all have a presence in Bangalore. Manufacturing and heavy industries are also present in Bangalore in a big way.

Having the area meeting in this city is a testimony of MGI Asia’s growth over the past 5 years.

MGI Asia looks forward to welcoming members to Bangalore.
