MGI Australasia are proud to launch a new online tool that lets clients see in real time how their business is performing against others in New Zealand and Australia.

Named My Catalyst, the software provides real-time feedback to business owner’s in fundamental areas such as growth, innovation, exit and succession planning, and financial performance.

Executive Chairman of MGI Australasia Grant Field says, “This benchmarking tool is an online portal to enable business owners to confidentially see how their business is tracking compared to others. It will be equally as beneficial for small businesses as well as larger, established businesses as it helps them identify their ‘blind spots’ and pinpoint what they need to be focusing on to implement their growth and exit plans.

“Users get real-time feedback and on-the-spot comparisons to other businesses of a similar size but they also get a downloadable 'traffic light' report with suggestions on how to improve."

The tool is the result of a long-running relationship between MGI Australasia and RMIT University in Melbourne. The pair have been working together since 2003 to produce the MGI Australasian Family and Private Business Survey - now the longest-running longitudinal study of its type.

A preview of the new online business tool was shared with members at the MGI Worldwide Global AGM in Santiago, Chile by International Committee member for MGI in Australasia, Matthew Moy. It is geared for businesses in New Zealand and Australia and only takes a few minutes to complete.

MGI Australasia’s online business benchmarking tool is now open. Visit: www.mgiaust.com/catalyst
