2018 Joint European Eastern & Mediterranean Circle meeting takes place in Marrakech, Morocco

This year’s joint Eastern & Mediterranean Circle meeting took place on 8-9 March

This year’s joint European Eastern & Mediterranean Circle meeting took place on 8-9 March in Marrakech, Morocco. The meeting was well attended by circle members with representatives from France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania and Switzerland, who were joined by colleagues from Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and United Kingdom.

New goals

The success of last year’s joint Prague meeting inspired Eastern and Mediterranean Circle leaders Corneliu-Teofil Teaha, László Killik, Menashe Knobel and Stéphane Loubières to hold another joint meeting in 2018 with the new goal of building closer relationships with French-speaking MGI Worldwide members in North Africa. For this reason, it was decided to move the meeting outside of the European continent to Marrakech, and to encourage MGI Worldwide colleagues from the region to attend.

Highlights

The agenda was aimed at helping members to develop their network, induce business building between Europe and North African countries, build business collaboration, enjoy the friendly atmosphere and celebrate Moroccan cuisine – for which there was plenty of opportunity as most of the delegates decided to extend their stay in Marrakech for the weekend.
