MGI Worldwide in top 20 global accounting networks in Middle East and North Africa

MGI Worldwide is delighted to announce that our global accounting network continues to rank among the top 20 in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as demonstrated in the June 2018 edition of the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB).

MGI Worldwide in Morocco

In Morocco, MGI Worldwide was ranked as the tenth top international accountancy network in terms of its fee income for the past year, following a six per cent rise in income to reach EGP 11.6 million. 

This fee income came from our Moroccan-based member firm Audicis SARL, which amassed 30 per cent of this total from its accounting services, 25 per cent from audit and assurance work, five per cent from both tax and advisory services, and 30 per cent from other work.

In addition to this, Audicis SARL contributed to MGI Worldwide coming in ninth among Morocco's top accounting networks in terms of its staff numbers, thanks to 27 staff in the country; three partners and 24 professionals based in the one office.

MGI Worldwide in Egypt

MGI Worldwide also ranked highly in Egypt, thanks to the work of our Cairo-based member Dr. Ashraf Hanna accounting and auditing firm. It ranked in 14th place in terms of its fee income, which saw an increase of 48 per cent over the course of the year to reach EGP 7.4 million.

Meanwhile, the network ranked in 16th place for its staff data, with a total of ten staff (two partners and eight professionals) in a single office.
