Kenneth Chau & Co has sponsored the CTA Conference 2018 in Hong Kong
This year's annual CTA Conference has taken place in Wanchai, Hong Kong and was sponsored by MGI Worldwide member Kenneth Chau & Co.
MGI Asia's longest-standing member Kenneth Chau & Co has had the pleasure to sponsor the Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) Conference 2018, this year entitled 'Fall Behind or Go Beyond'.
The event took place on November 23rd at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai. It was attended by more than 250 participants, including officials from both the Mainland and Hong Kong governments, experts in economics and finance, accounting and tax practitioners, professors and representatives of other professional bodies.
It served as a platform for the sharing of insights into how to leverage the wide-ranging opportunities now available to tax practitioners across the Bay area. It also allowed attendees to explore many major topics for the profession, such as how BEPS will impact the Hong Kong tax system, the current tax risks faced by enterprises/practitioners and the practical/commercial considerations of BEPS implementation, among others.
The guest of honour for this special event was The Honourable James Henry Lau Jr, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the HKSAR government.
Celebrating 40 years of MGI membership
Kenneth Chau & Co also hosted the MGI Asia meeting this year in August, while next year marks a special milestone for the firm; 2019 will be the 40th anniversary of Kenneth Chau & Co's membership of the MGI Worldwide network.
Founded in 1960, Kenneth Chau & Co joined MGI Worldwide in 1979 and over the years have played host to numerous special events on behalf of the network, as well being honoured with several awards.
