CEO at MGI Worldwide global accounting network, Clive Viegas Bennett, visits accountancy group member firms in Brazil
In April, Clive Viegas Bennett, CEO at global accounting association MGI Worldwide, travelled to Brazil, the largest country in Latin America, to visit each of the network’s international accounting firms – MGI Senger Wagner, Controle Contabilidade and MGI Assurance, based in São Paulo, Manaus and Curitiba respectively.
The purpose of the trip was to visit each office and their international accountant teams in person, to introduce MGI Worldwide, its DNA and brand to the whole organisation, deepen relationships with partners, learn about their expectations, needs and projects, and discuss the future of the accountancy network within the country.
São Paulo was the first stop. Clive was received by Claudio Wagner, Managing Partner of the oldest MGI Brazil member firm, MGI Senger Wagner, José Sedes, current International Committee representative for MGI Latin America, and Marcio Bissetti, manager of the firm. They had the opportunity to discuss MGI Worldwide’s position in Brazil, the growth of the firms, new services and other matters, and to visit the offices and meet part of the team.
The visit carried on in Manaus in North Brazil, at Controle Contabilidade, where Clive met Dizanira Santos, Jonilvania Mangueira and Jessica Barroso, three of the firm’s Partners. It was a positive meeting. In addition to discussing strategy, together they visited the offices, and did a presentation on MGI Worldwide to the team.
“Clive’s visit was excellent. We had the opportunity to voice our concerns. We concluded the day with many ideas for spreading and expanding the MGI Worldwide brand throughout the country”, stated Jonilvania Mangueira.

Brazil is a strategic country on a regional as well as global level in Latin America. Our objective is to continue to contribute to MGI Worldwide’s growth through strengthening existing members, and seeking new representatives that can add value and contribute to developing the accounting network throughout the country and the rest of the world. This was Clive’s objective in coming to Brazil, which was regarded as a positive experience for all involved.
