Nairobi-based Alekim Associates plans special celebratory event to mark new partnership with MGI Worldwide global accountancy network
Alekim Associates, a newly joined member of the MGI Worldwide international accounting association, based in Nairobi, Kenya, is planning a big celebration next week to mark its joining of the network.
A cause for celebration
Taking place on Thursday September 27th, the event will be held at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, and is set to be attended by some of the biggest figures from the local accountancy market, including the chair of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the chair of the Institute of Certified Secretaries, a representative from the Kenya Revenue Authority, media personalities, clients, and friends.
Jonathan Farrow, MGI Worldwide Company Secretary and Partner of founding firm MGI Midgley Snelling LLP based in Weybridge, UK, has also confirmed his attendance.
Alekim Associates hopes that fellow MGI Worldwide members will be able to attend, particularly those from within the MGI Africa region.
The special celebratory event will be a chance for the firm to officially launch their new partnership with MGI Worldwide, showcasing the fact that it has 'come of age' and can be seriously considered as an alternative to the Big Four accounting firms in the local Kenyan market. By joining the MGI Worldwide accounting network, Alekim Associates is demonstrating that its services and expertise are of an international standard in terms of both quality and ability, which they believe will lead to new opportunities in the near future.
There will be several key speakers at the event in the form of current clients, their professional regulators, the local Revenue Authority, friends and media personalities, with the celebration also providing guests with an excellent opportunity to network with faces from the accounting world.
