Network member firm BPO Audit Tax, recounts their positive experience of attending the 2019 Talent Meeting

BPO Audit Tax share their takeaways from the 2019 MGI talent meeting

The 2019 MGI Talent Meeting took place in January this year at London, Heathrow. Nearly 80 talented MGI Worldwide accountancy network members attended to learn about each other’s businesses, discuss professional issues and find out more about the business processes of other countries.

Here, members of BPO Audit Tax take a look back at their experience of attending the meeting.

Sharing knowledge on an international level

László Killik, a partner of Hungary-based BPO Audit Tax, was one of four representatives from his firm. László commented, “The Talent Meeting is an excellent opportunity for young talented colleagues to build an international network and gain insight into global trends in their profession.”

Shared insights and strategic cooperation

Vera Czabán, Audit assistant for BPO Audit Tax, further explained one of the benefits of attendance as having the opportunity to explore the differences across countries and how MGI member firms can support each other; “The conference gave a good insight into the international situation of our profession, and we had the opportunity to reflect together on the future and on possible cooperation.”

Vera elaborated that she, “found it particularly exemplary that the MGI Worldwide network encourages small companies to collaborate internationally.”

András Stolmár, Senior accountant at BPO said, “The central driver of the MGI Talent meeting was networking.  It was interesting to hear what accountants in other countries are concerned about.

For Gabriella Kőhegyi, BPO’s Marketing specialist, it was a great opportunity to participate in a conference organized for young MGI colleagues. She highlighted that, “You could feel the high-quality planning and organization [but] for me, the most rewarding part of the two days was finally being able to meet in person and get acquainted with the people with whom I had previously exchanged emails and to exchange experiences and ideas with them in the field of marketing.”

BPO Audit Tax give their colleagues opportunities to acquire the knowledge and connections for a unique career – opportunities such as those presented at the MGI Worldwide talent meeting. Concluding his thoughts on the event, László explained that “the key to the success of BPO is how much our colleagues use these opportunities.”
