Young Ham from Korea-based member firm MGI Hanmi Accounting Corporation speaks about how MGI Worldwide membership has helped the firm specialise in offering cross-border M&A support services and grow their business internationally.
Young explains how MGI Hanmi Accounting Corporation approached a Korean government agency assisting SMEs with investing abroad. The firm's aim was to broaden their reach by doing business with Korean-based companies seeking global accounting support. MGI Hanmi Accounting Corporation presented themselves as part of a global accounting network, which gave the agency confidence to partner with the firm for providing accounting services to clients doing business internationally.

Young goes on to say that the firm has successfully collaborated with other members across Asia, based in locations such as Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, and Japan, but also further afield with member firms in the USA, France, and the UK, resulting in more business opportunities and additional referrals.
Young concludes by stating that despite different languages, approaches, or expectations, forging partnerships between firms has been very good for the firm, and they are looking forward to working with more MGI Worldwide members in the near future.
