George Farrugia, of MGI Worldwide accountancy network member firm MGI Malta, celebrates the successes of membership with an MGI branded Porsche!

Membership of accounting group, MGI Worldwide, is well-known for its many business benefits – one of the obvious ones being the opportunities for direct collaboration with other member firms. George Farrugia of MGI Malta spoke recently about the positive relationship developed with MGI Salim Rajkotwala & Associates (UAE) and shared how the support they were given enabled MGI Malta to better service one of their clients.

Living and breathing the MGI brand 

The business opportunities such as this one are many, but George has also shown how leveraging the opportunities of membership to MGI Worldwide can come in different, and unique ways. 

Sharing the news of his recent purchase, a white Porsche Boxster, George proudly explained that MGI Malta likes to promote their membership to MGI Worldwide wherever they go – and what better way to do that than through a new, MGI-personalised number plate!

Enjoying business successes

George reflected on his background as a child from a low-income family. He was the ninth of 11 siblings, which naturally demanded that both parents had to work extremely hard to feed and educate their large family. Determined to be successful, George elaborated on his desires as a young boy. “This is one of two toys I promised myself when still a youth - if I worked hard enough. The other was a Sunseeker boat.”

He knew it was a long shot, but hard work brings rewards and, thanks to the increased opportunities that membership to MGI Worldwide brought, those rewards came quicker than expected. As George says himself, “Now I can die peacefully since I have ticked both boxes.”
