MGI Worldwide continues to thrive in Latin America as one of the highest rated accounting networks!

MGI Worldwide is delighted to confirm that we have been listed in the September 2019 edition of the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) as one of the leading 20 global accounting networks in Latin America, with strong results in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

Brazil

Karin Monchak, partner at MGI Worldwide member firm MGI Assurance Auiditores Independentes S.S. has been quoted in this most recent edition, where she discussed the new court rulings in Brazil that banned certain tax-over-tax incidences as part of a promise to result in significant credits on back taxes:

“As many of these decisions are immediately enforceable but still subject to change by government appeals, companies will be challenged to properly reflect results of operations in their financial statements.”

MGI Worldwide is ranking in 17^th position in Brazil in terms of fee income over the past 12-months, and came 18^th among Brazil’s top accounting networks in relation to their staff data, with 53 staff members, comprised of 8 partners and 45 professionals across four offices.

Peru

MGI Worldwide also ranked highly in Peru. The global accounting network ranks in 6^th place in terms of its fee income with a huge 55% growth in fee income from 2.5 million PEN last year to 3.8 million PEN during the past 12 months.

Meanwhile, the network also sits in 13^th place ranking for its staff data, with a total of 35 staff (5 partners and 30 professionals) sharing a single office.   

Chile

In Chile, MGI Worldwide holds the 17^th position in the top international accountancy networks, with a 44% rise in fee income from CLP 254.3 million last year, to CLP 365 million this year. MGI Worldwide also comes 16^th among Chile’s top accounting networks in terms of staff numbers, with 20 staff in the country; 2 partners and 18 professionals based in the one office.

Colombia

MGI Worldwide ranks at position 14 in Colombia, with an increase in fee income from COP 2,973.8 million to COP 3,103.3 million, generated from a total of 60 staff made up of 6 partners and 54 professionals across two offices.
