24 payroll experts from 17 MGI Europe member firms met in Frankfurt Airport, on 27 September, to discuss and work on the concept of the new MGI Worldwide International Employment Services.
The Business Development Day is a knowledge-sharing event for partners and managers and this edition was fully dedicated to debating International Employment Services. The meeting required the active participation of the delegates to share their local expertise and to work together as a team to develop an MGI Worldwide International Service.
Zafer Celik, partner at MGI Worldwide Swiss member firm Budliger Treuhand AG, proposed the idea of developing MGI Worldwide services to respond to the increasing demand of international clients. Zafer and Dr. Michael Grüne, partner at Prof. Dr. Binder, Dr. Dr. Hillebrecht u.Partner GmbH, based in Germany, actively participated in developing the agenda. Zoltan Paksy, MGI Europe Regional Director, facilitated the event.
Participants worked in teams during the day. Delegates created a picture of the target client, explained the journey of the customer, checked out the competition, identified pain-points of the client as well as the opportunities for new services.
The team agreed to continue to work on the Microsoft SharePoint digital platform. Based on a high turnout at the first Business Development Day, the European Coordinating Committee (ECC) felt reassured that the concept would deliver value for fellow MGI Worldwide members. ECC will announce the 2020 Business Development Day calendar before the end of this year.
