Managing partners from the UK & Ireland gather online to re-connect and share ideas on managing their practice during the pandemic

Accounting network and association managing partners from the UK & Ireland have gathered online to share ideas

In times of uncertainty it’s good to know you have a support network to help you through.

Managing partners from the UK & Ireland have come together for the second consecutive week to re-connect and share ideas to help one another during the pandemic.

The online web meetings where everyone has opportunity to contribute to the conversation and see each other, are a key way for firms to interact and keep in touch. Discussions are open and transparent and cover a range of issues from remote working, work flow, cash flow and furlough during the crisis, as well as sharing ideas on new and creative ways to communicate with clients and staff.

Nigel Rowley and Donna Martin from Mackrell International were welcome attendees with Donna as an employment lawyer giving some clarity on the new furlough rules.

Janis Osborne from Rickard Luckin in Chelmsford, Essex who attended todays call said, ’This situation is proving that you can work in a different way. For us, it’s building the firm for the future and I am very positive about how things will work out depending on how we get there. We are all learning to live with uncertainty and how to embrace it.”

More web calls are planned for the coming weeks and months while the situation evolves and feedback has been really positive. For more information or questions please contact MGI UK & Ireland Regional Director Paul Winder at [email protected].
