Newly formed MGI with CPAAI global Marketing & Communications group publishes survey results
Our regular Marketing & Communications calls, which were begun as a way to keep connected during this year's lockdown, have now become a well established platform for members to meet and interact with fellow marketing professionals across the MGI Worldwide with CPAAI community, to share knowledge and hear what others are up to.
The calls, which usually attract round 30 attendees, are also open to members from our sister law network Mackrell International. Initially held weekly, the marketing & Communications calls will now be resuming after a reduced summer schedule. Calls will be held on the first and third Thursday of every month.
Discussions initially focussed on helping members and their firms to cope with the global pandemic covering topics such as 'Business Development From Home', 'Launching your first podcast' and 'Communicating in a Crisis'. In later sessions the group has moved on to talk about other areas of interest including social media, business development plans and digital marketing.
Positive Feedback
A recent survey, taken amongst 30 participants, highlights the overwhelmingly positive response we have had from members with over 50% of respondents saying that they attend the meetings most weeks.

Back in July we asked Members of the Group to provide their thoughts and feedback on the topic areas they would like to discuss and learn about for future Marketing calls, and many felt they would benefit from hearing more 'show and tells' from firms during our calls.
If you are interested, please take a moment to look at the list of topic areas on pages 11 - 14 of the Marketing Call Survey Summary document (PDF) and give some thought to the topic areas you feel you may like to contribute on. A quick 10 minute 'show and tell' sharing your experiences and learnings among the Group is extremely valuable for everyone on the call and helps stimulate our discussions!
