Are you aware of law changes brought about by COVID in Italy? Read on for information on the Italian Government's anti-pandemic measures for foreigners

MGI Worldwide CPAAI member MGI Vannucci e Associati publishes an article on the Italian anti-pandemic measures

If your firm has clients with interests in Italy, be sure to catch up with all the latest laws and bills passed by the Italian government in 2020, to tackle the economic and financial consequences of the global pandemic.

Due to the severe impact of Covid-19 and its repercussions on the life of citizens, the Italian Government and other public authorities have approved new regulations and initiatives to support the economy, businesses, and their employees. The total funding made available for these measures in 2020 is approximately €120 billion. Furthermore, the Italian Parliament is discussing another package of measures totalling €40 billion for the next financial year.

These new laws are often complex, making it difficult to have a clear picture of the new regulations.

To help colleagues in understanding the new measures, MGI Worldwide CPAAI member firm MGI Vannucci & Associati, of Lucca, Italy shares below an article they recently published in Tuscany's Grapevine magazine for expatriates. It includes a helpful summary of the most important and concrete measures, which are most likely to affect foreigners.
