Celebrating together! MGI Worldwide CPAAI members gather virtually for year-end round-up and festive toast!

MGI Latin America accountancy network members gather online for year-end round-up and Christmas toast

Despite physical restrictions, MGI Latin America members from both MGI Worldwide and CPAAI continue actively work towards strengthening regional ties as they meet virtually to review the past year, record a special Christmas greeting, and together, look to the future.

After a very active 'virtual' year, over 35 representatives - from some of Latin America's 48 member firms - met on Thursday 17 December for their last meeting of 2020. As usual, everyone was pleased to see one another, the meeting marked by enthusiastic conversation and good humour as old and new friends exchanged stories.

A brief review of this year's activities was given as well as a summary of projects that are currently underway across the region. Additional plans for 2021 were also discussed as Latin American firms strive to continue building new relationships and creating opportunities for collaboration.

At the end of the meeting, everyone raised their glass in a virtual toast to celebrate making it through what has proved to be an unprecedented year, to wish each other a peaceful festive season, and to look forward collectively and with renewed optimism to 2021!
