We are very pleased to announce that MGI Worldwide with CPAAI has entered into an agreement for CaseWare to become a Global Technology Partner.
CaseWare offer the leading global solution for paperless audit within a framework of local and international auditing standards.
We will give CaseWare the opportunity to engage with members at conferences, both online and face-to-face, via webinars and at other regional events. In the first instance this will be via webinars on 2 and 3 June for existing users and on 23 and 24 June for new users. New Global Pricing Agreement From CaseWare
CaseWare are offering both existing and new users access to their products under their “Networks Pricing Agreement”. This will apply from day one for new users and on renewal for existing users.
We hope that all members will get benefits from this agreement beyond financial as members learn from CaseWare and each other how they might improve audit efficiency whilst managing risk.
CaseWare operate through a vast number of distributors around the world who have all supported this deal except for the German distributor so this will not be relevant to our German members for the time being. CaseWare distributors have the freedom to negotiate special pricing deals locally. For this reason some very long established users or those who benefit from local/national buying agreements may already have deals in place that this agreement cannot match.
We are also aware that in many countries the local distributor has developed the product to work with local audit methodologies or niche areas and these may also not be covered by this global agreement.
The core products that our agreement covers are:
- Working Papers (available in English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Dutch, Danish, Russian, Ukrainian)
- Audit (using international audit standards and methodology, available in English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Croatian, Greek)
- SmartSync
- Connector
Members are free to opt into this deal or not, for any or all of the products referred to above.
For example, a new or existing CaseWare user in the UK using Working Papers (which is consistent for all users globally), Audit with a UK methodology (from HAT or Mercia) and SmartSync could buy Working Papers and SmartSync under this agreement if there was a price advantage whilst continuing with their existing agreement for Audit with the local distributor.
Participation in this agreement will be possible from day one for new users or on renewal for current existing users. Any new users in the future who benefit from lower local year 1 prices will not be allowed to switch to this deal for later years. In most countries CaseWare have a 100% price in year 1 reducing to 50% for all subsequent years. Some distributors have lower year 1 deals but cannot match this deal in the long term.
So overall we think that all members will have the opportunity to benefit from our closer working relationship with CaseWare.
