MGI World Axis Redomiciliation White Paper, crop of front page Feb 2021

Re-domiciliation is the process through which a company transfers its registration from one jurisdiction to another and becomes a company incorporated under the laws of the new chosen jurisdiction and is treated as the same legal entity.

Re-domiciliation of companies is becoming more and more frequent, be it for the unfavourable tax and regulatory regime in which a company is currently operating in, or for the efficient administration and management of costs by consolidating all structures in one particular jurisdiction, to generally lower the cost of doing business, and more recently, wishing to move away from stringent economic substance requirements.

Axis Global Ltd has prepared a paper on the benefits & attractiveness of Mauritius as an option for entities to migrate. The paper also lists the eligibility criteria’s. You can access the paper HERE
