One of the highlights of the Accru calendar is the national LEAP Conference, which brings together colleagues from all six Accru offices. Held recently in Sydney, the conference was a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, have fun, and learn from each other.

This year, the Conference was held at Pier One Hotel in Sydney from the 10-12th of April. Regional Coordinator for the Accru Group, Ayzsa Gibbs reports:

“A total of 63 delegates attended the event from Accru Network firms across Australia as well as our sponsors, FYIdocs, Fuseworks, and Strategic Group. We were particularly pleased to welcome Amit Chopra and Arjun Chopra of GCA Associates, MGI Worldwide member firm in New Delhi, India."

Engaging themes

“The main topics of discussion were, Building a High-Performance Team, presented by guest speaker Trudy Macdonald of TalentCode HRCyber Security & AI, presented by Strategic Group and Automations presented by FYIdocs & Fuseworks. We also held a panel discussion about Systems and Process Change. The panel consisted of Steven Reddy (Accru Felsers), Lachlan Baird (Accru Melbourne), Morgan Sampson (Accru Rawsons) and Ayzsa Gibbs (Accru Harris Orchard) - a big thank you to them for taking part.

"The focus of the Leap Conference is to create an opportunity to connect with our Accru peers and strengthen our relationships in order to collaborate further.

"We also enjoyed the sight of the Sydney Harbor from underneath the bridge and at night while we had dinner at Gili’s Rooftop at Taronga Zoo."

"It was an honour to be invited to my first Accru Australia LEAP conference last  month. The highlight for me was the opportunity to speak on the ‘Systems and Process Change’ panel; sharing some of Accru Melbourne’s experiences and hearing from colleagues from across the country. It was also great to catch up with friends from past ACATG training conferences. A few new friendships were made too!"
