Marketing MGI membership to your firm’s advantage
MGI member firm, Seymour Taylor based in High Wycombe, UK, are one of the longest established accountancy firms in the Thames Valley, founded in 1917. Marketing specialist, Elvan Clarke, shares insights with fellow MGI members on their success in marketing MGI membership to their firm's advantage.
Maxine Brock, International Marketing Director at MGI finds out more.
How do you market MGI membership at a local level?
At Seymour Taylor, we use a variety of material to promote our MGI membership and depending on the audience we also talk about the wider benefits of being part of MGI and the value this brings. For us, we have got a lot of value from our membership and working with other people, so it’s important we reinforce the value of this to our clients, especially those that have international needs.
What marketing tools do you use?
In our experience, it is important to utilise as many channels as possible to engage our audience, including Social media. We recently capitalized on the opportunity to use the member testimonial videos produced by MGI to drive exposure for our firm. We also promoted this on our website and also use other communications such as the directory, poster, company brochure and exposure at events.
