MGI Worldwide partners with Stretching the City to support the next generation of professionals
We're pleased to share a new partnership between our NextGen International Committee (IC) and Stretching the City, bringing a professional development programme to our NextGen community across the globe.
Starting 18 November 2026, the four-part programme is designed for professionals with typically up to ten years' experience, helping them build confidence, develop practical skills and make a greater impact in their careers.
Delivered by Stretching the City's People & Performance team, the programme goes beyond traditional webinars. Each session builds on the last, giving participants the chance to put what they've learnt into practice while getting to know fellow NextGen members from across the network.
Meet your facilitator, Jenny Allen Smith
Leading the sessions is Jenny Allen Smith, Programme Director at People & Performance, executive coach and leadership specialist.
Jenny brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to professional development, helping people build confidence, communicate effectively and get the best out of themselves at work.

The programme includes four 60-minute virtual sessions, each exploring a different aspect of professional growth:

Build credibility, take ownership and increase your professional impact. -
10 February 2027 | Managing expectations and performing at your best
Learn how to manage priorities, set boundaries and protect your wellbeing. -
12 May 2027 | Communicating with impact
Gain the confidence to speak up, share ideas and make your voice heard. -
8 September 2027 | Feedback, confidence and difficult conversations
Develop practical skills for giving and receiving feedback and navigating challenging conversations.
Each session will be offered at 06:00 and 16:00 London time (GMT/BST), making it easier for members across our regions to take part.
