Why did BH Auditing join MGI Worldwide with CPAAI?

We recently spoke to Haytham Abdulmalek Modhish about his reasons for joining our accountancy network and association. He explained that:

“Upgrading the quality of professional performance in our firm and of our staff is always a priority, as is the desire to improve the quality of the professional performance of our customers. In addition to this, the competent government agencies , international and local organizations in Yemen require their auditors to a member of a global accounting network, and having researched the networks available, we believed that MGI Worldwide with CPAAI was the one with an ethos most closely aligned to our own.”

A brief introduction to Yemen

The Republic of Yemen is located in the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula in southwest Asia. It is the second-largest country in the Arabian Peninsula, occupying 527,970 square kilometres, with a coastline that stretches for about 2,500 kilometres.

In early 1995, the government of Yemen launched an economic, financial, and administrative reform program (EFARP) with the support of the world bank and the IMF, as well as international donors. This had a positive impact on Yemen’s economy and a massively reduced budget deficit. Services are the largest economic sector in Yemen (61.4% of GDP), followed by the industrial sector (30.9%), and agriculture (7.7%).
