Is the traditional Excel Desktop always the best tool for the job? As more people are switching to Google Sheets it's important to understand the differences of what is available. To learn more, join David Benaim, our resident tech guru, for this 1.5 hour workshop.
Google Sheets was once a simpler version of Excel but now it has dozens of functions (QUERY, COUNTUNIQUE, SPARKLINE) and tools (Checkboxes, Remove whitespace), which Excel Desktop does not and some more enhanced versions of Excel’s existing features such as auto-refreshing PivotTables, date pickers and other data validation enhancements and custom function creation. Excel is stronger in many domains but Google is stronger in others. Many consider Google as being incomparable for collaboration but David will showcase how Excel Desktop is able to have simultaneous editing and more collaboration features.
