As George Farrugia from MGI Malta enters retirement, we look back fondly at over 30 years of his time as an active member of our global accountancy network

George Farrugia from international accounting association member firm MGI Malta retires

George Farrugia has represented MGI Malta as active members since the early nineties and has shown a tremendous commitment to the network and the brand during that time.

George has always proven himself as an expert when it comes to maximising opportunities brought about by belonging to our global accountancy group, from sponsoring high-profile events to partnering with other member firms to help with urgent client issues that required immediate action.

Tributes from colleagues

Dario Galloni and Giovanni Triunfo of MGI De Leone-Triunfo-Galloni & Associati in Milan, Italy, sent the following message to George:

"It has been a great privilege and a true pleasure to work with you over these years.

Whenever we had the good fortune to work with your firm, we did so safely in the knowledge that we were in the capable hands of highly competent persons deserving of the utmost trust.

Those of our clients to whom you have provided assistance have always been full of praise not only for your meticulous and skillful professionalism but also for your ability to make them feel listened to and protected.

As you now prepare to close this important chapter of your professional career, you must surely feel great satisfaction that your years of work have earned you the sincere admiration and affection of so many of us.

We wish you the very best as you embark on the next stage of your journey."
